Jack has a very interesting and fraught relationship with his sister, Emily. She was adopted into the family when they were both young, but Emily soon drew the attention of their father away from Jack. He became jealous of her and that jealousy lead to bitterness.

Jack ha un rapporto molto interessante e teso con sua sorella, Emily. Lei è stata adottata dalla sua famiglia quando entrambi erano ancora piccoli. Ma Emily ha concentrato l’attenzione del loro padre lontano da quella di Jack. Lui è diventato geloso e questa gelosia è diventata rancore.

Who would you say is the goofiest on the Absentia set?   ~   nikki

I think we all have our moments. On a show that is so fraught with darkness and heavy drama I think it’s important for all our sanity to laugh a lot.

Penso che abbiamo avuto tutti quanti il nostro momento. È uno show dove tutto è molto oscuro pieno di scene molto toccanti io penso sia molto importante per il nostro bene ridere molto.

What can you tell us about working with Stana Katic?   ~   helloitsme

Stana is a very smart, courageous and talented actress. She commuted herself to every second of this character. It’s was very impressive and inspirational to watch her work.

Stana è davvero intelligente, coraggiosa ed un’attrice di grande talento. Ha messo tutta se stessa in questo personaggio. È stato impressionate ed ispirante vederla lavorare.‬

Anything you can tell us about Absentia and/or your character Jack?   ~   Gaby

Thanks Gaby. Jack was once a well respected surgeon. However he was stripped of his license after struggling with alcoholism. When we meet Jack he is two years sober and starting to get his life back on track. But when his sister is found alive, Jack’s life starts to spiral again. He’s a deeply complex character who was beautifully written. It was an exciting challenge getting to know him.

Grazie Gaby. Jack era un chirurgo rispettato. Tuttavia gli è stata tolta la licenza in seguito alla sua lotta con l’alcolismo. Quando noi incontriamo Jack, lui è sobrio da due anni e sta riprendendo in mano la sua vita. Ma quando la sorella, Emily viene ritrovata viva, Jack rientra in quella spirale ancora una volta. Lui è un personaggio molto complesso scritto splendidamente. È stata una sfida emozionante imparare a conoscerlo.
